[South Salem, NY] — Singer-songwriter Patrick J Meaney today releases his new single “So Much Good,” an intimate, piano-driven meditation on the innate goodness people carry within them. Available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms beginning July 24, 2026, the song arrives as a gentle but urgent reminder that warmth and connection are never far from reach.

Built around Meaney’s reflective vocals and keyboards, and brought to life through the guitars, bass, and arrangements of producer-engineer Marc Wolf, “So Much Good” unfolds like a quiet revelation. Its lyrics trace a personal journey — a chance encounter with love that softened the edges of everyday life — before opening outward into a universal invitation: to see the good in the people around us, and to let that good in.

“People have so much good in them — every person on this world has good in them. Don’t let that good slip away.”

In an era defined by division and noise, “So Much Good” chooses a different path. About Patrick J Meaney

I grew up in Astoria, Queens. At 16 my folks agreed to help purchase a used Gretch Anniversary model for $50 that I still have.  I played it for years.  Once upon a time, I got to play a friends Martin and was swept by the sound of it and now have a Martin GPC18E and a lovely blue Les Paul, which are just wonderful to play.  
Mostly now I play a Roland Phantom G6 which is a fun synthesizer keyboard. As a teen I carried a small radio in my shirt pocket, trying to get as close as possible to the sound.  I love most of the classical rock, the Beatles, much of the newer music in Spotify’s Chill Pop, some Rock and am blown away by live orchestral music, particularly Tchaikovsky and some Bach.
I have a penchant for mentioning that I opened the gate into the parking lot on the day the Beatles played Shea stadium, then went in and saw them while the fans screamed and went wild.  Quite a day, it was. 
I am self-taught in just about everything and I’m trying to get this music heard wide and far.
I wrote, sang and played Bass in a couple early bands and we had fun playing our own songs, wherever allowed.  I truly look forward to playing the songs from this album, live, at our earliest opportunity and hoped you would attend.
While, there is a love song or two in the album, several of the songs try to explain feelings that are profound to me, and hopefully, also to you.

Dear Fellow Earthlings:

Welcome to space.

And, welcome to my imagination which has genuine feelings that if this musical project can find a playwright or someone who can organize and transform this effort into a wonderful stage type of medium, further success will find us. 
There is a story waiting to evolve from the drafts corresponding with each song on this album. There are love songs, some for people and some for the home planet of our birth. This music is only somewhat different than what you may hear on streaming networks, but they feel soothingly different as they speak of things you don’t ordinarily hear about.
This story wonders if we would be received warmly in space by another people. There are lyrics of hope, of change and acceptance. We humans are now entering into the Age of Space and I just wanted to welcome you there!
In this story there are dreams that unfold with courtroom juries deciding our fate. Should we be judged on how well we get along with one another? One would hope for improvement in this as we move ahead. Another aspect is that some people, unhelpfully, answer to an apparent need to be very greedy. Could this also be the at the root of all things we need to improve upon? This feels like a key element that needs to be disconnected from our psyche to assist our mental advancements.

Couldn’t we become fully pleased and appreciative with a life of peace and freedom? Of family and children being taught in loving ways, without biases and dinner table displays of adult learned prejudices? And while education is one of the most singularly important components, we also should illuminate, that to love those around us is very important.

Conclusions:
— We always knew that Space was extraordinarily large and now we are unable to grasp what endless may suggest.
— We own nothing, but ourselves and our future.
— We will need googolplex numbers of people, should our expansion into space become routine. And that seems more likely to happen, than not.
— In ways, the above sounds akin to science fiction. Often, it seems, we happily follow on the trails of it.
